Duke School, a nationally recognized preschool–8th grade project-based school, seeks a dynamic and innovative leader to serve as Middle School Director, beginning July 1, 2025. Overseeing 200 students (grades 5-8) and 24 faculty/staff, this role requires a visionary educator who thrives in a collaborative community focused on fostering bold thinkers, problem-solvers, and upstanders through inquiry-based learning. The Director will build authentic relationships, advocate for project-based learning, and foster a middle school program that aligns with the school’s mission and core values.
As a member of the Duke School’s Leadership Team, the Middle School Director will be a proven leader and a strong relationship builder, skilled in forming authentic and empathetic relationships across and within diverse communities - including students, faculty, staff, and parents.
