Job Description Summary
The Epiphany School of Global Studies seeks a Lower School Technology Instructor/Technology Associate. The ideal candidate is competent in creating an engaging, dynamic classroom environment that promotes learning and growth. He/she motivates learners in a safe atmosphere to maximize learning potential. The Lower School Technology Associate is called to work collaboratively with peers to communicate student needs and curricular goals. This position includes responsibilities for initial troubleshooting and resolution of technology issues for staff and students. The candidate should be able to research and implement solutions with tier-one help desk support.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree and experience/training in Computer Science.
● Two years of related work experience in teaching and technology support.
● Software proficiencies: Windows, iOS software, Microsoft Office Suite; Google Suite
● Knowledge of and training with Windows, Chrome, and Apple products
● CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
● Working knowledge of Google, Microsoft, Windows, and iOS. Network Administration, System Administration, and Help Desk support abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties:
● Maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, alumni, and community members.
● Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, students, parents, and the community.
● Participate in professional development as desired or as requested.
● Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior, including professional dress.
● Demonstrate awareness of school-community needs and meet those needs when possible.
● Follow the policies established by all relevant school, local, and state agencies.
● Present a positive role model for students that supports the school's mission.
● Perform other duties as assigned.


Lower School Technology Instructor:
● Exhibit knowledge of curriculum that is appropriate for the developmental age of the students.
● Effectively plan engaging lessons that encourage the development of students from kindergarten through
fourth grade in keyboarding, digital citizenship, Internet safety, and application usage of various programs
such as Word/Docs, coding, and other technology uses.
● Manage student behavior in the classroom and according to school policies.

Lower School Technology Assistant:
● Manage the apps being pushed out to the LS iPads or school-owned Chromebooks.
● Assist teachers with technology in their classrooms.
● Facilitate teacher training on grade books, Chromebook usage, iPads, Windows, etc.
● Vertically align the LS Curriculum with the MS and US technology expectations.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
● Occasional travel between campuses, prolonged and irregular hours
● Frequent standing, bending, stooping, walking, and use of hands
● This position also requires using ladders, lifting at least 50 lbs, and contact with building materials.
● The employee is required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
● Maintain emotional control under stress and maintain a positive attitude and appropriate interactions
with all stakeholders.
