Lower School Assistant (Part-Time)

Westchester Country Day School, a PreK-12 college preparatory school located in High Point, NC, seeks a part-time Lower School Assistant Teacher. The Assistant Teacher will support the lead teacher in the classroom, primarily in second grade classrooms. Previous work with children and/or teaching experience with elementary age students is preferred. Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate’s degree, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A willingness to contribute to school activities, a team-oriented work ethic, ability to teach groups of students, and an enthusiasm for working with young children are characteristics we are seeking in a candidate. Daily working hours will be 8:00-12:30 Monday-Friday with occasional expectations to work outside of these hours for scheduled events.
