Durham Academy (DA) is accepting applications for a part-time Upper School Biology Teacher to begin August 2024. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in science;  master’s degree or commensurate experience preferred.  Candidates should have at least three years of teaching experience in biology at the secondary level; be prepared to teach advanced biology courses; demonstrate commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and collegiality; and have an interest or experience with the Science Olympiad program.  This position reports to the Upper School Director.

Founded in 1933, Durham Academy is an all-gender, independent day school with 1,247 students in Pre-kindergarten through grade 12 on three campuses.
